We are seeking a Human Resources Director (HR Generalist!) to lead and manage all aspects of this two-person Human Resources department. This Generalist position has responsibility for the development and implementation of all HR policies, recruitment, employee relations and benefit administration. This position reports directly to the Vice President Chief of Staff and supports the entire senior leadership team and the employees of our YMCA.

Mission Advancement: Models and teaches the Y’s values. Ensures a high level of service with a commitment to changing lives. Provides volunteers with orientation, training, development, and recognition. Cultivates relationships to support fund-raising.

Utilizes non-threatening methods to address sensitive issues and inappropriate behavior or performance. Has the functional and technical knowledge and skills required to perform well; uses best practices and demonstrates up-to-date knowledge and skills in technology.
