US United States Army Futures Command is Hiring an Executive Assistant Near Natick, MA

Duties

  • Serve as an assistant and office manager to the Technical Director and Office of the Director staff responsible for the performance and coordination of all administrative management and procedural functions of the organization.
  • Authors, reviews and edits correspondence, makes travel arrangements
  • Utilize automated software to prepare and manipulate files, produce correspondence, reports, and briefing aids.
  • Receives visitors and telephone calls.
  • Coordinate and host meetings both in-person and virtually via MS Teams.

  • This position requires the incumbent obtain and maintain a secret security clearance for the duration of employment.
  • This position may require a one-year probationary period.
  • This position may require business travel up to 5% of the time.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. General Experience: Three years progressively responsible experience, 1 year of which was equivalent to at least the DE-01/GS-04 grade level, which includes 1) Prepare correspondence, technical papers, spreadsheets, or briefing charts ensuring content is accurate and in the correct format; AND 2) Advise management of new administrative policies that support the organizations mission; AND 3) Analyze results of findings for administrative problems in order to provide recommendations. This definition of general experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (DE-01/GS-04).

Education: Four-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree. (Transcripts MUST be provided.)
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 36. Then divide your total number of completed undergraduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 120. Add the two percentages.

Education

FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
