Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in the classroom
- Assist with classroom management and behavior guidance
- Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Engage children in educational and play-based activities
- Assist with daily tasks such as mealtime, naptime, and diaper changes
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a positive learning environment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting
- Knowledge of childhood development and early childhood education principles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Patience, flexibility, and a genuine love for working with children
- Basic understanding of literacy education and math concepts in early childhood
Note: This position may require lifting or carrying children, as well as standing or sitting for extended periods of time.
