This individual will be responsible for leading the development and execution of the driver recruiting plan. Recruit, screen, interview & hire qualified applicants as per DCI Driver Hiring guidelines while improving driver retention & safety standards.

This is a fully remote position with a desire for the candidate to reside in Eastern or Central Time Zones.

Salary range for this role is $55,000-$60,000 per year with opportunity for incentives and variable compensation components.

Essential Functions:

• Source potential prospects to build and maintain a strong pipeline through online job boards, social media, and industry events.
• Conduct thorough screenings and interviews to ensure only the best candidates are considered for onboarding, meet company standards, and comply with DOT regulations.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
• Travel as needed for recruitment events and to meet with candidates.
• Demonstrate technology proficiency, including the ability to manage Google Documents and Sheets, as well as ATS software, Tenstreet a plus.
• Communicate with the Driver Recruiting Processor
• Review Driver Demand Spreadsheet to determine needs by terminal together with the terminal management to develop recruiting plan. (desired capacity, and advertising plan)
• Communicate with Terminal Managers to provide updates & set up interviews.

Skills and knowledge required:

• HS Diploma, 2 or 4 year degree preferred
• Familiarity or previous experience related to the transportation industry, CDLA driver qualifications, or comprehensive knowledge of DOT regulations preferred.
• 2 Yrs. Recruiting/ Staffing experience needed, ideally within transportation industry.
• Demonstrate technology proficiency, including the ability to manage Google Documents and Sheets, as well as ATS software.
• Possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Strong persuasion skills required, previous experience in sales preferred.
