The HR SOURCE is Hiring a HR Manager Near Mc Lean, VA

The Human Resource Manager is a strategic and hands-on role responsible for overseeing the full cycle of Human Resources while managing a team of experienced HR professionals. This position is crucial for delivering exceptional internal customer support, developing career paths for employees, ensuring optimal hiring practices, and driving HR functional excellence.
What will I be doing?
  • Be a trusted advisor to leaders, managers, and individual team members to help them deliver their best work every single day and coach on a variety of people issues.
  • Lead and manage a team of HR professionals, ensuring they understand and effectively carry out their roles and responsibilities and provide guidance in their professional growth and development.
  • Partner with the business on organizational design, workforce planning, and skill development.
  • Provide compensation support including salary planning, promotions and incentive programs.
  • Partner with the business to lead performance management and talent development.
  • Work with managers and employees to address various employee relations issues.
  • Ability to successfully monitor the "pulse" of the employees to ensure a high level of employee engagement.
  • Work with the recruiting team on creating an aggressive recruitment strategy to hire customer centric technical support staff.
  • Advise and direct on matters related to compliance and employment law
  • Work closely with the HR leadership team on company-wide HR initiatives including HRIS enhancements, organizational effectiveness, benefits and compensation strategy and training and development.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent with a minimum of 8 years of HR Business Partner experience and a minimum of 3 years of management experience.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously - orientated on results
  • Strong experience with (and interest in) coaching and developing employees and managers
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
  • Experience with rapid and complex changing work environment.
  • PHR or SPHR strongly preferred
