Prescient Edge is seeking a Human Resource Generalist who is interested in a dynamic role in a fast-paced and growing environment. Candidates are expected to be well-organized and able to handle day-to-day operations with a focus on quality, efficiency, and excellent time management. Duties will vary from HR support tasks including new employee onboarding, benefit management, payroll administration support, employee relations, and employee separation management. In this role, you will dive into the full spectrum of HR responsibilities.
Responsibilities
* Ensure policy and procedures are upheld throughout the company
* Assist in quality control and maintenance of HR records including new hires, pay/benefit changes, benefit rates and options, and payroll reporting
* Provide feedback to leadership regarding best practices
* Perform new employee onboarding and employee separation activities as needed, including data entry/data management, benefit administration, meeting coordination, etc.
* Assist in administering benefits, compensation, and employee performance programs
* Suggest new procedures and policies to continually improve efficiency of the HR department and organization as a whole, and to improve employee experience
* Ensure legal compliance of HR state and federal regulations and applicable employment laws, and update policies and/or procedures as required
* Be the primary backup for payroll processing, including bi-weekly and semi-monthly updates to employee files, bonus/incentive pay, tracking vacation/sick pay, importing expense reimbursements, inputting exceptions, hourly employee validations, and benefit changes
* Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbook and contributes to the development of policies
Job Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field
* Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
* Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred
* Master's Degree in business, human resources, or a related field
* HR certification (e.g., SHRM, HCRI)
