Job Title: Construction Site Admin IV
Pay Rate: $40 to $45/HR
Duration: 9 months
Location: New London, CT

This position is for the Renewable Energy division.

We are looking for a Construction Site Admin to manage typical finance administrative tasks on a construction site and report functionally to the Commercial Site Management and disciplinary to the Operations Manager in the back office. Supporting the Commercial Site Manager to ensure financial and commercial processes on site are properly adhered to, the Construction Site Admin will be part of the site team to assist with the day-to-day finance topics including forecasting, quality assurance of costs on site, purchase orders, processing, and checking invoices from suppliers and reporting of costs.

  • Procurement- Support the Purchase Order (PO) process to raise PO requisitions and send POs to suppliers, monitor and ensure adherence to purchasing processes.
  • Ensure the Short Order process is executed on-site including raising, filing, and monitoring of all short orders.
  • Check the validity of supplier invoicing ensure correct posting against POs and act as contact person for suppliers for invoices and payments.
  • Cost Controlling – Support the Commercial Site Manager with input on-site purchases to improve cost controlling and forecast quality
  • Asset Management – Ensure Site inventory is in place and is monitored: to set up and maintain assets log and carry out regular inventory checks
  • Commercial Documentation – ensure site inventories, purchases, assets, and equipment are tracked, monitored, and logged.
  • To support ad hoc admin tasks

  • Business Administration and Finance – Purchase Ordering, Invoices, cost controlling and analysis.
  • Advanced communication skills in multicultural environments.
  • English language proficiency.
  • Advanced IT Skills - MS Outlook, Office 365 (Excel, Word, OneDrive).

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an office/business administrator, assistant, or relevant role.

Project/Process

  • Familiarity with office management procedures preferably within the Offshore Wind Industry.

Intercultural

  • Living and working experience in an intercultural environment

Additional Requirements:

  • This role is site-based in NEW LONDON, CT Local resumes for the area only.
  • Training and certificates: Country specifics may apply e.g.: Safety Passport (UK specific).
  • PPE: Glasses, boots, helmet, gloves, and high visibility jacket.

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
