LISA Academy is Hiring a Director of HR Near Little Rock, AR

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Master’s Degree in Education or Management-Related field
  • 2 years successful experience as a school or HR administrator
  • Experience in Human Resources Management, in public education (preferred)
  • Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification (preferred)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Supervises the functions of personnel, risk management, labor relations, employee relations and information services.
  • Directs programs of recruitment, initial screening, selection, employment, orientation, assignment, and credential
  • processing.
  • Collaborate with principals or other directors to ensure high quality staff are hired.
  • Coordinate the job fairs organized by LISA Academy or coordinate attendance to the outside job fairs.
  • Directs all phases of contract negotiation and acts as chief negotiator for management bargaining teams.
  • Coordinates and monitors the employee performance evaluation development and implementation process.
  • Coordinates and monitors grow-your-own-teacher and leader programs.
  • Collaborates with the PD department to ensure the implementation of Novice teacher and teacher support programs.
  • Implement and improve LISA Academy Talent Philosophy.
  • Monitors the implementation of anti-discrimination policies and procedures and appropriate staff training.
  • Supervises the evaluation of all Human Resources Department staff.
  • Conducts or assists in the process of investigations of employees in disciplinary matters and makes recommendations regarding disciplinary actions.
  • Directs wage, salary, and benefit administration.
  • Attends School Board meetings and prepares reports and presentations as required.
  • Ensures that the required FTE, student, and staff reporting systems are current and accurate.
  • Develops annual agreements and salary placements for all management, certified, and classified personnel.
  • Manages the process for employee separation from the district, including conducting exit interviews.
  • Organizes and implements employee recognition programs.
  • Directs the reporting of all required data to the Department of Education.
  • Maintains the Human Resources section of the district website, including developing content for current and prospective employees.
  • Performs such other tasks and assumes such other responsibilities as assigned by the CEO-Superintendent.
