PeerSource is Hiring a Sales Engineer Near Florida, NY

PeerSource is currently recruiting for a Sales Engineer on a Direct Hire basis. This position is fully remote but candidate must be presently located in 1 of the following states: FL, NC, TX, VA, CO, HI, GA, TN, PA, AZ, WA, IL, MA

Summary

The Sales Engineer is responsible for delivering high-quality, value-driven software demonstration presentations to both prospective and existing clients. This role involves collaborating with regional sales executives and client managers throughout the sales process to achieve sales goals and ensure client retention.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate compelling functional and technical software presentations.
  • Employ a consultative sales approach, acting as a trusted advisor to clients.
  • Support account executives in driving new business and qualifying sales opportunities.
  • Assist in developing effective sales strategies tailored to specific opportunities.
  • Clearly articulate the company's value proposition and competitive advantages.
  • Continuously enhance product knowledge and industry expertise.
  • Maintain the demonstration environment to ensure it is current.
  • Document all sales activities and contribute to the CRM system for Sales and Marketing.

Required Skills

  • 2 years of professional experience with SaaS consulting including presales / sales engineering.
  • Experience creating and delivering compelling software demonstrations and presentations.
  • Familiarity with project-based or financial-based software systems.
  • Understanding of project financial management and standard accounting processes/principals, such as GL.
  • Understanding of Microsoft software such as SQL Server, Power BI, Project, Dynamics CRM, and basic windows network OS.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills – a proven ability to articulate a solution’s business value and benefits.
  • Ability to travel up to 60% of the time (although travel is typically less).
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Prior experience as a software implementation consultant or sales engineer is preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of the AEC industry is a plus.
