Search Solution Group is Hiring a Human Resources Director Near Charlotte, NC

JOB PURPOSE AND REPORTING STRUCTURE:

The Director of Human Resources is a strategic business partner for the company’s executive leadership team providing HR expertise. The HR Director will partner with other executives and be responsible for the creation & execution of the Human Resources Strategy that aligns and supports the overall business objectives. The HR Director will lead a team responsible for the overall administration, coordination of the human resources function within the company.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for meeting or exceeding company performance metrics for driving improvement and making well informed decisions for manufacturing activities, resource allocation and strategic planning. Provide HR Analytics to leadership that support decisions driving business objectives.

• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.

• Support current and future business needs through human capital initiatives including workforce planning, talent acquisition, talent management & talent development.

• Provide expertise and consultation on organizational design, development, and driving organizational effectiveness.

• Partner with all levels of leadership, championing employee engagement initiates that shape and influence culture.

• Ensure policies are consistent between divisional locations and acceptable to Form Technologies.

• Maintain and promote positive employee relations by bridging/addressing management and employee concerns/issues. Nurture a positive working environment, teamwork, and customer service approach/attitude.

• Manage the talent acquisition process addressing human capital and talent needs that enable the business to execute the desired business objectives. Develop statistics to communicate status to the executive team and/or the rest of the organization.

• Oversee and manage a performance management system that drives high performance.

• Maintain compensation plan and benefits programs in connection with parent company. 

• Own the HRIS system (Ceridian DayForce) for all aspects of Human Resources and support of the organization. Ensure the system meets the needs of the organization.

• Ensure legal and regulatory compliance by having an in-depth knowledge of labor law and human resources best practices.

• Provide leadership, coaching, and development to the HR team, which will consist of direct and/or indirect reports. Evaluates employee performance, sets expectations and goals for the department and individuals.

• Travel – There will be regular visits to the other locations within the company.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Requires a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or Organizational Development or related field from a four-year college or university and 10 to 15 years of progressive human resources management experience with extensive experience in a non-union manufacturing environment. SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification desirable.
