Phoenix Technologies International, LLC is Hiring a HR Manager Near Bowling Green, OH

Summary

The HR Manager will report to the Site Manager and support organizational processes and metrics that sustain the achievement of the organization’s overall business direction. This role will champion employee relations, recruitment, training and development, onboarding and policies and procedures. He/she will review and recommend employee relations best practices for a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee morale and motivation.

Responsibilities

  • Management of the overall recruitment and selection process;
  • Oversee the new hire orientation process, and introduce new employees to the corporate culture;
  • Ensure innovative systems and practices for employees including onboarding, development, needs assessments and training;
  • Assist with overall payroll processes and procedures;
  • Monitor and report on key human resources metrics (i.e., turnover, exit interviews, staffing activity, diversity and overall trends, recommend methodologies and actions to Site Manager);
  • Maintain a working knowledge of federal and state legislation that impacts the various facets of the employment function to ensure practices and policies are in compliance for domestic and international staff;
  • Ensure compliance with personnel policies by managing and reviewing all discipline, investigations and worker’s compensation claims while reporting findings to the Site Manager.
  • Ensure proper policy development and documentation;
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects with overlapping tasks and work independently with minimal supervision;
  • With limited direction, provide HR support to employees and management as the go-to-person regarding time & attendance, benefits, employee relations, etc.;
  • Accountable of employment verification;
  • Assist with Benefit open enrollment and employee meetings;
  • Training coordinator for employees and management;
  • Ensure HR policies, procedures and workflows meet departmental performance, qualify and service goals;
  • Performs other duties as requested.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related business field;
  • 10 years’ experience in an HR supervisory position;
  • Demonstrated experience in handling employee relations;
  • Project management proficiency, especially with implementation of new programs;
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of local, state and federal employment laws;
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written, verbal and presentation skills, strong relationship-building skills, ability to train employees on human resource systems, procedures and practices;
  • Strong understanding and experience with HR systems;
  • Experience in OSHA safety requirements is a plus;
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365, e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel PowerPoint;
  • Manufacturing HR experience a plus;
  • Experienced in using ADP and other HRIS tools.
