Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company's purchasing activities, ensuring cost-effective procurement of goods and services while maintaining high quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that are innovative, cost-effective, and meet quality requirements.
- Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions.
- Monitor supplier performance and compliance with contracts.
- Analyze market trends and apply this knowledge to make insightful buying decisions.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels.
- Coordinate with various departments to determine their procurement needs.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Skills:
- Strong negotiation skills for contract management and vendor relations.
- Knowledge of procurement processes, including production planning and logistics.
- Experience with Oracle EBS or similar procurement systems.
- Ability to maintain quality management standards in all procurement activities.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively negotiate contracts and resolve issues.
