Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Purchasing Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process efficiently and ensuring the timely delivery of goods and services.

Responsibilities:

- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods while maintaining optimal inventory levels.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to secure advantageous terms.
- Monitor and analyze inventory levels to prevent shortages and overstock situations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand their purchasing needs and requirements.
- Utilize MRP systems to track orders, manage inventory, and generate reports.
- Implement cost-saving strategies without compromising quality standards.
- Manage logistics, including shipping, receiving, and distribution of products.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Proven experience in procurement, contract management, sourcing, and supply chain management.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain vendor relationships.
- Proficiency in using MRP systems for inventory control and purchasing activities.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of logistics operations and contract negotiation techniques.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
