NR Consulting is Hiring a Procurement Specialist Near Boston, MA

Summary
Client would like to hire a candidate for a six-month, full-time position, in a state agency procurement department.

Responsibility
The position is hybrid-eligible, but is not fully remote; the schedule will be coordinated with the hiring manager.

  • The candidate will join a team that specializes in contract administration, and will perform a variety of administrative (25%) and procurement related (75%) tasks. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, is required, along with superior oral and written communication skills. Job duties may include, but are not limited to:
  • Scheduling meetings
  • Maintaining the department out-of-office calendar
  • Telephone reference checks of applicants for the agency's contracts
  • Attending strategic sourcing procurement meetings, and creating and distributing meeting minutes
  • Procurement tasks in agency procurement systems, including file uploads and database updates
  • Auditing records/files for accuracy and completeness in agency procurement and vendor sales reporting systems

Temp-to-hire is a possibility, depending on available funding and agency needs.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $21.00 - $23.50 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
