Cozen O'Conner is Hiring a Litigation Attorney Near Los Angeles, CA

Cozen O’Connor is seeking a litigation attorney to join the firm’s Los Angeles office with a reduced hours target of 1600. Candidates should have experience litigating matters involving catastrophic casualty claims, premises liability, product liability, dram shop, hospitality related litigation, transportation & logistics, and other complex torts and business disputes. The candidate should have experience defending individual, insurance, and corporate/SIR clients.

Qualified candidates should have at least three years of law firm litigation experience and be able to demonstrate proficiency in written and oral advocacy skills and excellent academic credentials. Deposition experience is required and some level of trial experience is desired but not required. Candidate should be able to work independently and handle litigation matters from responding to the complaint through pre-trial conferences as they will be given autonomy to run litigation matters with partner oversight.

Based on the experience needed for this position, including deposition experience, motion practice experience and (although not necessary) trial experience, the candidate will be expected to independently handle matters.

Candidates in Santa Monica and San Diego will also be considered.
