Training Assistant - Hybrid

Location: Atlanta, GA, United States of America

Position Summary:

The Training Assistant will support the Manager of Sales Enablement in planning and coordination of training and organizational development programs to include office and clerical support staff in the Atlanta Office.

Work location - Hybrid

Primary Responsibilities:

Training Support (40%)

  • Schedules training events, coordinates with instructors, obtains and distributes required instructional materials, and communicates schedules and details.

  • Administers embedded evaluations, pre/post tests, and provides assistance during satisfaction survey process (as needed)

  • Answers routine inquiries regarding courses, schedules, and locations

  • Coordinates additional services including technical equipment, meals and refreshments, housekeeping, maintenance, or repair.

  • Keeps all members of the team/work unit up to date with relevant activities.

  • Aids in assessing training needs through surveys, interviews with employees, or consultations with staff.

  • Contributes to the design and creation of training manuals, online learning modules and course materials.

  • Interacts with Area Business Directors and Field Trainers on a regular basis, developing a supportive relationship.

  • Assists in the evaluation of training programs.

Office/Clerical Support (50%)

  • Prepare all training materials for on/off-site trainings.

  • Track eLearning prerequisites for in-person and virtual trainings.

  • Prepare and maintain off-site kits.

  • Send completed training certifications to QA for approval.

  • Manages data entry including entering trainee profiles and attendance.

  • Add new employees into Allego and manage New Hire Training class Groups within the system.

  • Email rosters and Satisfaction Survey aggregate reports to counties.

  • Email Satisfaction Survey aggregate reports and Trainer Response Survey to trainers after training.

  • Responsible for ordering office supplies for on and off-site training.

Other Duties as Assigned (10%)

  • Stay up to date on all information regarding training team processes including policies, procedures, resources, concerns, relationships with constituents, and county organization culture.

  • Establish and maintain a positive teamwork environment in all training and office settings.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and at least one year, training or related experience OR two years of college coursework.

  • Strong project management, leadership, attention to detail, and organizational skills.

  • Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred, but not required.

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing

  • Ability to interact effectively with co-workers, partners, and professionals.

  • Ability to display motivation and strong interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to display organization, meet deadlines, and display detail orientation.

  • Ability to gather and analyze information.

  • Ability to organize and plan work including handling multiple priorities and interruptions and work within strict deadlines.

  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to understand standard office procedures; to operate standard office equipment; to learn office technology systems; to perform basic arithmetic calculations; and typing and keyboard skills.

Travel:

This position requires 10% travel.

Supervisory Reports:

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
