Position Objective: To provide support for the CDC’s Office of Readiness and Response (ORR) - Division of Emergency Operations (DEO) related to establishment, implementation, execution, and maintenance of the public health emergency responder coordination programs, also known as CDC Ready Responder. The goal for this project is to have a fully designed training plan to allow for agency preparedness and response readiness, before an activation happens. Training frequency will vary depending on category of training. General Responder Training, once fully designed, will be delivered prior to a response activation to all cadres and role-specific types. Refresher training should occur, after a certain period of time, to ensure responders retain the
information. Role-specific training will be managed the same way, in advance of an activation, to ensure readiness.

Role-Specific Training Delivery Support
Provide support to ORR/DEO and CDC faculty instructors delivering role-specific emergency responder training. Training will be conducted virtually by CDC faculty instructors and modified into e-learning. The Government does not anticipate any in-person training. The Government estimates this task for take up to forty (40) hours, per role, for up to ten (10) roles. This task may be exercised up to ten (10) times. For this task, the following activities shall be conducted:
General Responder Training Delivery Support
Provide support to ORR/DEO and CDC faculty instructors delivering general responder training. This task is intended to support the delivery of general responder curriculum that will be required for all responders. Training will be conducted virtually by CDC faculty instructors and modified into e-learning. The Government does not anticipate any in-person training. The goal of this optional task is to support CDC’s delivery of general responder training for up to five-thousand (5000) responders. For this task, the following activities shall be conducted:
Ramp-Up of Emergency Responder Training Delivery
Provide support to ORR/DEO with CDC’s delivery of emergency responder training, which may include a variety of responder training with varying content, based on surge needs of the agency as it prepares for and/or manages emergency responses. This task is intended to allow CDC to “ramp up” its emergency responder training efforts quickly and effectively in support of the CDCReady Responder program plan and in the event a public health emergency is approaching or declared. This optional task can be exercised up to one-hundred (100) times. The Government estimates this task will take up to forty (40) hours per exercise. For this task, upon the identification of urgent training needs within an active response environment, the contractor shall conduct the following activities:
