As a Point of Sale (POS) Field Installation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful installation, configuration, and operation of our POS systems and related hardware solutions for our clients. You will work closely with the deployment team and clients to ensure a smooth and efficient implementation process.
As a ZBS Technical Support Representative you will:
Installation and Configuration: Install, set up, and configure POS software applications, hardware components (terminals, printers, scanners, etc.), and any necessary equipment and accessories according to client specifications and company guidelines.
On-Site Deployment: Travel to client locations to perform on-site installations, ensuring that all hardware and software components are functioning correctly and meet client requirements.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity during installation and deployment. Collaborate with technical support and development teams to address complex problems.
Client Communication: Maintain effective communication with clients throughout the installation process, providing updates on progress, addressing concerns, and offering guidance on best practices for POS system usage.
Quality Assurance: Conduct testing and quality checks to ensure that all installed systems meet the company's standards for functionality, performance, and security.
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, sales, technical support, and development, to share insights, feedback, and suggestions for improving deployment processes and product performance.
Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to POS systems and deployment methodologies.
