Payroll Clerk
Zachry Group is seeking a Payroll Clerk Contractor to support the corporate payroll team with the administration of payroll in conformance with established payroll procedures. The position will be responsible for supporting employee involuntary deduction maintenance, including related agency reporting and funding coordination.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administer and maintain employee involuntary deductions (garnishments, child support, levies, etc.).
- Complete employment, earning and deduction statements for local, state, and federal government agencies.
- Communicate with employees regarding status and documentation of involuntary deductions
- Organizes and maintains files of records and correspondence of both a routine and confidential nature.
- Scan and Index payroll information into document retention database.
- Troubleshoot payroll inquiries.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
