Job Title: Senior Generosity Manager
Reports to: Executive Director
Location: Alpharetta, Georgia

OVERVIEW

This position is responsible for working with the Executive Director to create and execute a development strategy for investor communications aimed at increasing the level of overall fundraising in support of the strategic direction of Your Move Collective (YMC).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategy Development

• • Develop and implement a comprehensive written annual development plan with strategies for investors and prospects in each tier of investors including base investors, intermediate investors, and those that could become major investors; plus, assist the Executive Director (ED) with major gift strategy.
  • Provide monthly reports to the ED that measure progress toward achieving the plan.
  • Broaden YMC’s fundraising by developing approaches such as foundational giving, planned giving, solicitation of bequests, and endowment programs.
  • Manage organizational income projections for all giving levels and track and report on progress-to-goals including contacts, gifts, and pledges.
  • Develop and manage the Investor Development annual budget in conjunction with the Executive Director.

Investment Cultivation

• • Create and implement strategies for donor development and cultivation that will provide a diverse and sustainable funding base for YMC.
  • Keep up-to-date on current fundraising programs, practices, and procedures used in the nonprofit sector and implement them as appropriate for YMC.
  • Grow the existing Culture Changers recurring givers program and enhance the robustness of the program and community.
  • Manage an existing Founders Circle major gifts program and create and implement additional major gifts and planned giving programs in conjunction with the Executive Director.
  • Identify and pursue new sources of funding from foundations in conjunction with the Executive Director.
  • Create and update collateral materials to support investment cultivation.
  • Develop and implement all aspects of direct investor mailings, appeal letters, and other investor communications as needed.
  • Ensure that the investor database information is current and accurate.
  • Acknowledge all gifts and investments, ensuring the linkage between investor generosity and audience life-change is clear and celebrated.
  • Plan and manage all YMC investor events.

Grant Requests and Administration

• • Research and write grants for YMC.
  • Provide timely reporting and ensure compliance as required by grant award documentation.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Be a mature follower of Jesus, serious about knowing God and making him known
• Minimum of three years prior experience in investor/donor development
• High capacity and self-direction in all aspects of investor development
• A collaborative problem solver who brings an entrepreneurial approach to designing investor engagement strategies
• Ability to demonstrate innovation and to successfully manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously, working both independently and as a team member
• Detail-oriented, organized, efficient, and strong writing skills are a MUST
• Bachelor’s degree or higher level of education
• YMC has a hybrid office model that combines in-person and remote work. Candidate must be local to Atlanta and will be required to work in the office 2-3 days each week.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

• Salary: Competitive base salary, depending on experience
