Job Title: Sr. Manager, Financial Systems

About the role

The Sr. Manager of Financial System designs, develops and oversees the operation and maintenance of the Accounting organization's various systems. Aptean currently uses Intacct as its Accounting software and is in the process of improving the quality and functionality of its finance technology stack.

Duties and Responsiblities:

• Contribute to cross-functional teams in the implementation, maintenance, and support of the Sage Intacct platform through business requirement discovery and analysis, software installation, software upgrades, software configuration, data migration, data integration, training, and end-user support.
• Support of our configured modules and integrations for all internal accounting systems – including but not limited to Sage Intacct, IBM Planning Analytics (TM1), FinPro, Basware, and Blackline.
• Develop and maintain an accounting systems road map highlighting the systems enhancements being pursued
• Act as a liaison with third party vendors to troubleshoot systems
• Work with SQL databases to create reports and stored procedures
• Develop an understanding of accounting processes within Aptean and how accounting systems work with each other and other systems at Aptean
• Manage and prioritize projects based on resource availability and timelines as well as day to day run type activities such as platform incidents, requests, changes, and problems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5 years of financial/accounting experience is required. Detailed understanding of accounting standards, methodologies and related business practices.
• 5 years experience administering ERP software in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment
• 5 years experience with Sage Intacct platform
• Experience with IBM Planning Analytics, Basware, Blackline, or FinPro as plus
• Strong Microsoft SQL skills – writing queries and stored procedures
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills – pivot tables and macros
• Experience with PowerBI a plus
• A strong work ethic to solve problems, accomplish objectives, and meet deadlines
