General Manager Operations
Dukanee Beauty Supply was established in 1962. We are a dynamic and leading Retail company dedicated to the distribution of professional beauty supplies, providing manufacturers with channels to reach customers across professional, non-professional, and B2B segments. The company has grown steadily through strategic acquisitions and new store openings. We pride ourselves on innovation, creativity, and connecting with our audience in meaningful ways. As we expand our online presence, we are seeking a talented General Manager to join our team.
Position Overview:
Dukanee is actively seeking an energetic and highly organized General Manager Operations to assume a leadership role, overseeing all facets of staff management, goal-setting, strategy formulation, budgeting, and operational activities within our organization. The ideal candidate will be entrusted with the responsibility of enhancing operational efficiency, driving departmental profits, and ensuring the overall success of the company.
This role demands exceptional leadership and organizational capabilities. The ability to work autonomously and lead a team effectively is imperative. The successful candidate must embody a hospitality-centric mindset, possess expertise in recruitment, training, and team motivation. A minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales, Customer Service, or Retail, with a proven track record of managing profitable businesses within larger organizations, is a prerequisite.
Key Responsibilities:
As the General Manager at Dukanee Beauty Supply, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our organizational strategies to drive growth and operational excellence. Your responsibilities will encompass a broad spectrum of leadership, management, and strategic functions:
  • Spearhead the development of overarching business strategies in alignment with the company's vision, mission, and long-term objectives.
  • Formulate and communicate clear goals and performance metrics across all departments.
  • Take a lead role in financial management, including budget planning, expenditure optimization, and revenue generation strategies.
  • Conduct regular financial analyses to identify opportunities for cost efficiency and revenue enhancement.
  • Implement and optimize processes to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Oversee large-scale projects, interpreting performance reports and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of high performance, accountability, and employee engagement.
  • Lead the recruitment, training, and professional development of a diverse and skilled team.
  • Collaborate closely with account managers and senior staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services that exceed client expectations.
  • Innovate solutions to meet evolving client needs and contribute to long-term client satisfaction and retention.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape, recommending and implementing innovative strategies to keep the brand at the forefront.
  • Drive the development and execution of initiatives to foster business growth.
  • Develop, review, and enforce policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards
  • Foster a culture of adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Establish effective communication channels across all levels of the organization.
  • Prepare and deliver regular, comprehensive reports to upper management, providing insights into the overall performance of the location or business unit.Requirements and Qualifications:
    • Proficient in strategic thinking and planning.
    • Strong understanding of budget management and financial monitoring.
    • Excellent leadership skills, encompassing goal setting, motivation, training, and mentorship.
    • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal), including active listening.
    • Effective conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced or high-pressure environment.
    • In-depth knowledge of the beauty supply industry.
    • Proven experience as a General Manager or in a similar executive role.
    • Expertise in planning and budgeting.
    • Knowledge of business processes and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations, etc.).
    • Strong analytical ability.
    • Proficient in English/Spanish (Highly Preferred).
    • Demonstrated dedication with a high level of commitment.Preferred Experience:
      • Retail Sales: 2 – 5 years.
      • Management: 4 years.
      • Sales: 2 -3 years.
      • Beauty Supply Industry: PlusEducation:
        BSc/BA in Business or relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus.
        Schedule:
        Full Time Day Shift with Saturday availability
        Work Location: On-site (Doral,FL)
        Compensation and Benefits
        Salary Between: $95,000.00-$110,000.00
