YETI is looking for an experienced, self-motivated Digital Product Manager that will help to expand digital growth for YETI.com, specifically owning and focusing on the Sitewide and Explore swimlanes of the digital experience. In this role, you will report directly to our Senior Manager, Digital Product.

This role will be responsible for overseeing the strategy, prioritization, development, optimization, and maintenance of digital products related to YETI.com's search, global navigation, homepage, landing pages, category pages and listing pages. You will work closely with the other digital product managers and collaborate with teams across UX/UI Design, Engineering and IT, Merchandising and other teams.

This person will have experience in e-commerce retail owning the successful delivery of digital solutions that enhance the digital customer experience and drive business growth. You will help to advance the growing agile product development function for YETI.com.

You will need to be very comfortable gleaning insights from data, making decisions to prioritize greatest impact for effort, and communicate clearly and proactively across teams. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, results-oriented, and has a desire to achieve big wins and incremental improvement. This individual should have a deep understanding of e-commerce and digital product development.

Position Type (See Workplace Approach Below): Hybrid

Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development: You will support digital experiences across product detail pages, product customizer and product configurator experiences, from planning to strategy to execution to measurement. You must be able to lean on a deep understanding consumer needs and trends to uncover business value.
  • Product Planning and Roadmap: Create and manage a product roadmap, outlining the features, enhancements, and capabilities required for YETI's digital experience roadmap. Prioritize initiatives based on business value, customer impact, and resource availability.
  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholdersand cross-functional teams to understand their needs and translate them into clear and actionable product requirements. Lead strategy for market research and competitor analysis to identify industry trends and best practices.
  • User Experience (UX): Work closely with UX designers to create intuitive, engaging, and seamless digital experiences across the upper and mid funnel pages on YETI.com. Ensure the user interface is optimized for ease of use, accessibility, and responsiveness across various devices and platforms. You should carry a curiosity to learn what works, what doesn't, and why.
  • Agile Product Development: Set and communicate clear direction for teams, anchoring to business impact to prioritize. Coordinate with development and user experience design teams to bring concepts to life and align to the overall product strategy and overarching company goals, providing clear guidance and requirements during the process. Iterate and deliver high-quality digital products within established timelines and budgets.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: You should be familiar with optimizing product features through A/B testing. You'll analyze product data and make iterative product changes based on consumer feedback. You will collaborate with build teams to define test plans and ensure thorough testing of digital products. Monitor and address any bugs, performance issues, or usability concerns.
  • Performance Measurement: Work with analytics and user research partner(s) to gather user feedback to identify areas for improvement. Make data-driven decisions to optimize performance.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between various stakeholders, providing regular updates on product status, milestones, and any potential roadblocks. You will hear the desired outcomes and priorities for Senior Leadership and execute a roadmap to deliver against those priorities. Present product strategies and results to key stakeholders as needed.

Qualifications and Attributes:

  • At least 4 years of proven experience as a digital product manager, preferably with a focus on ecommerce customer experiences in retail
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Prior experience driving conversion, average order value and attach rates online and offline
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully collaborate with cross-functional digital retail teams
  • Concise and organized communication; both written and verbal/in presentation
  • Comfortable speaking to colleagues across teams, from peers to senior leadership
  • Excellent relationship building skills; highly collaborative
  • Analytically minded, detail-oriented and curious
  • Demonstrated understanding of the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and product delivery, including roadmap planning and management
  • Working knowledge of Jira and Confluence
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics and Tableau
  • YETI offers a hybrid work environment, but this role must be based in Austin, TX and in-office Tu/Wed/Thu weekly

  • Onsite: Role requires you to be onsite full-time.
  • Hybrid: Role requires you to be located in Austin, Texas and is a mixture of onsite and remote.
  • Remote: Role is full-time remote.
