Position Summary:
The Development Events Associate reports directly to the Director of Fundraising Events and is responsible for assisting with the planning and execution of all events tied to university fundraising.
Responsibilities include providing support for all fundraising events including logistics, working with vendors, event budget tracking and donor attendance management. Working with both internal and external stakeholders, the Development Events Associate will work proactively to help find solutions that maximize donor satisfaction and financial impact at all University events.
Position Responsibilities:
- Assist the Director of Donor Events and Engagement to oversee logistics and strategies related to event execution.
- Provide event support in terms of budget tracking, donor attendance, donor payments and vendor payment processing.
- Work collaboratively with other departments including University Events, Procurement, Catering, and Communications and Marketing.
- Provide first-line contact with donors and event attendees for questions and concerns as they relate to the event.
- Maintain the highest level of client service when dealing with University donors.
- Work proactively to solve issues as they arise.
- Manage Board lists, occasional staffing for board meetings.
