Ye Olde College Inn Restaurant is reviewing applications for a part-time or full-time Host.

We are looking for a hard worker who is enthusiastic & self-motivated. Must present a professional appearance at all times & needs to be passionate about the culinary arts.

General Duties include:

- Greet guests with a warm and welcoming demeanor upon arrival
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
- Assist with seating arrangements to ensure efficient use of dining space
- Manage waitlist during peak hours and estimate wait times accurately
- Answer phone calls and assist with reservations or inquiries
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow of service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station
- Handle guest complaints or concerns in a professional manner
- Provide assistance to servers as needed

Qualifications
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage with guests effectively
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
