We are looking for a professional Host/Hostess with a passion for people and New Orleans cuisine!
Host/Hostess:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner.
· Ascertains their dining/lodging needs.
· Seats guests and manage the seating chart via Open-table
· Monitors restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow.
· Responds to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
· Performs opening and closing duties, as needed.
· Assists others with side work including, but not limited to cleaning, stocking, folding
silverware, etc.
· Helps fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships.
· Must be able to maneuver in an office, through restaurant/bar and at outside functions. Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time, bend, stoop, reach, kneel, crouch, twist, lift, push, pull, and grip items when necessary. May occasionally lift up to 30 pounds; push, pull or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
· Must be able to work varied hours/days, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, in accordance with the restaurant operations and adhere to the attendance requirements of the company.
· Must adhere to the established appearance, hygiene, and dress code guidelines.
· Ability to adhere to and comply with all rules and regulations of the company.
· Other duties as assigned.
Host/Hostess Qualifications/Skills:

· Open-table experience (preferred)
Requirements:
· High school diploma preferred.
· Prior restaurant or hotel experience preferred.
· Ability to manage high volume guest counts.
· Good communication.
· Experience with Open-table preferred (will be thoroughly trained when hired).
