ANTOINE'S RESTAURANT is Hiring a Bar Manager Near Orleans, LA
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the bars including the Hermes and Service Bar (Backbar) ensuring smooth and efficient service
- Manage and train bar staff, including scheduling and performance evaluations
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Create and update drink menus, ensuring a diverse selection of high-quality beverages
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any customer concerns or issues
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage offerings
- Stay updated on industry trends and new products to enhance the bar's offerings
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in restaurant management or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and beverage preparation
- Excellent hospitality and customer service skills
- Ability to interview, hire, and train bar staff effectively
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Familiarity with food service management software systems
- Passion for bar and a strong understanding of bar preparation methods
- Degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred, but not required
