Y7 Studio is looking for a Remote Part-Time Payroll and Benefits Expert who can bring strong experience with the ADP platform to our growing team. As a vital part of our administrative function, this individual will be responsible for managing all aspects of our payroll and benefits systems. Our ideal candidate is someone who is detail-oriented, experienced, and has a passion for providing top-tier payroll and benefits support to our team members.
**Responsibilities:**
1. Manage and process payroll for all employees accurately and timely utilizing the ADP platform.2. Handle benefits administration including enrollments, terminations, changes, and all related paperwork.3. Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal wage and hour laws.4. Coordinate with HR and Accounting teams to streamline payroll and benefits processes.5. Resolve payroll and benefits related issues with transparency and urgency.6. Prepare various payroll and benefits reports for management as needed.7. Participate in audits related to payroll and benefits.8. Keep up-to-date with changes in tax, benefits, and wage laws.9. Conduct employee presentations and Q&A sessions regarding payroll and benefits matters.
**Qualifications:**
1. Minimum 5 years of experience in payroll and benefits administration.2. Expertise in ADP payroll platform is required.3. Knowledge of all pertinent federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements affecting employee benefits programs, including ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, Section 125, workers' compensation, Medicare, Social Security and DOL requirements.4. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.5. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.6. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.7. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver on deadlines.8. Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation is a plus.*
