Looking for an experienced Network Project Manager to manage the design, installation, integration, and acceptance testing of the wireless network elements, and element management systems that will be located in various national sites/ local data centers as well as head ends.
Skills and Experience:
Must have technical knowledge / understanding of Cisco WLAN / LAN networking.
Working knowledge of Cisco, Aruba, VMWare, Firewalls, IP routing, network design/topology.
PMP certification
Must have excellent facilitation skills, very strong follow-through abilities and strong ownership of initiatives and issues – drive team to resolutions and delivery.
Must have strong critical thinking and problem-solving ability/experience to drive solutions, addressing known issues and risks.
Proficiency with MS Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, Visio and Word. Must be self-motivated, and able to efficiently manage simultaneous projects.
Able to develop goals based on business needs and accomplish by working professionally with other team members.
Responsibilities_
Ensure flawless execution of projects by considering impacts on all areas.
Assess requests for Network team assistance.
Working through the technical, business, operational and legal/compliance questions that develop surrounding the buildout of the WLAN network, ISE Migration and DNAC deployment Develop achievable completion dates and prioritize/de-prioritize efforts.
Escalate issues to other groups or departments where support needed and track for resolution and completion.
Efficient documentation submitted by internal and external resources.
Drive schedules, quality and cost
Provide comprehensive updates to internal and external teams via regular status meetings/reports.
Work cross-functionally as a dynamic leader to effectively guide projects from concept to deployment and facilitate cross-functional meetings guiding large project teams
Document all aspects of the project including requirements, risks, issues, project schedule, and meeting agendas/notes
