WOW Logistics is now hiring for aLearning and Development Specialist!

As a Learning and Development Specialist, you will play a vital role in designing, implementing, and evaluating learning and development programs within our organization. Your primary objective will be to enhance employee knowledge, skills, and abilities to drive individual and organizational performance. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to identify training needs, develop tailored learning solutions, and deliver engaging training sessions. This role requires a passion for learning, excellent instructional design skills, and the ability to facilitate effective learning experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify skill gaps and training needs across the organization
  • Develop comprehensive learning programs, including curriculum, instructional materials, and assessment tools, to address identified training needs
  • Facilitate engaging training sessions, workshops, and webinars to deliver content effectively and ensure participant comprehension
  • Create engaging and interactive e-learning modules using various authoring tools
  • Oversee the administration and maintenance of the LMS, including content management, user access, and reporting. We use Cornerstone on Demand for our LMS.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, gather feedback, and make recommendations for improvements
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, managers, and other stakeholders to gather input, ensure training content is accurate, and align with organizational goals
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning by promoting the value of professional development and encouraging employees to take advantage of learning opportunities
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends, best practices, and new technologies in learning and development to enhance training programs
  • Maintain accurate training records, course documentation, and reports for compliance and auditing purposes

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Instructional Design, Education, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field; an equivalent combination or education and experience may be considered
  • 3-5 years of experience in learning and development, instructional design, or a related field. Experience in warehousing or manufacturing is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in developing e-Learning curriculum using Articulate, an LMS, Adobe or other course creation software
  • Working knowledge and minimum of 3 years of experience supporting a Learning Management Systems (Cornerstone preferred)
  • Must be detail-oriented and well organized; excellent written, listening, verbal, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills are a must
  • Must have a strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be flexible and patient to work in an ambiguous environment
