What you’ll do:

Sales Team Management:

  • Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve sales targets and objectives.
  • Provide ongoing training and development to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Implement sales strategies to maximize productivity and efficiency.
  • Provide frequent performance reports to management.
  • Create new programs and initiatives to increase sales team performance.

Personnel Management:

  • Recruit, interview, and hire qualified sales personnel as needed.
  • Conduct disciplinary actions and terminate underperforming employees as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures during the hiring and termination process.

Training and Development:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive training programs for new hires and existing sales staff.
  • Conduct sales training sessions on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and support to help sales representatives achieve their full potential.

Auditing and Performance Analysis:

  • Monitor sales performance and track key metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Conduct regular audits of sales activities to ensure adherence to company standards.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to make informed decisions and adjustments to sales strategies.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to enhance loyalty and satisfaction.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Coordinate with other departments such as marketing, operations, and finance to streamline processes and achieve common goals.
  • Communicate effectively with senior management to provide updates on sales performance, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment within the sales team.
  • Meet team and personal quotas set by management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in sales management required, experience in flooring preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in sales management software and CRM systems.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to drive informed decision-making.
  • Familiarity with hiring processes and employment laws.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving sales targets.

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to lift 25lbs.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time, for up to 2 hours continuously.
  • Extend and reach with hands and arms and use hands and fingers.
  • Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Extensive sitting and computer use.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
