Position Summary: The Commercial Flooring Project Manager works to maintain good relationships with existing customers, present solutions, understand provided estimates and project scope, maintain an acceptable profit margin, and manages the project from contract to completion.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Build and maintain positive and quality relationships with our existing customers, general contractors, building managers and installers. As a primary representative of the company, professional and effective communication is key.
· Works with a positive attitude with the ability to work individually and as a team player.
· Emphasis on multitasking, priority setting, and perform well under pressure.
· Completes a hand off at contract approval with the estimator for scope review and project understanding.
· Communicate quickly and clearly with customers and associates via e-mail and/or technology.
· Complete awareness of defined scope of work with clear deadlines documented.
· Provide accurate specification checks of materials specified vs estimated.
· Complete all project submittals including ordering physical samples, compiling product data, etc.
· Review all shop drawings for submittal in accordance with the CD’s for accuracy and correct material quantities.
· Establish and monitor all project costs, coordinate all shipments.
· Establish and communicate project schedules in conjunction with trades and vendors
· Establish and deliver status reports to internal and external customers.
· Execute all change orders written up on site with a prepared quote in Moraware to the GC.
· Approve and close out all vendor invoices, punch items and delivery tickets for project completion.
· Proficiency in Moraware, which includes:
o Ordering material through PO process
o Scheduling all material deliveries, pickups, installations, repairs, and job punch through the Moraware calendar.
o Utilizing pick tickets and delivery receipts for all outgoing materials.
o Documenting all job issues and communications through the forms in Moraware
o Upload all Site reports throughout job duration to Moraware
o Maintain accurate job files throughout the job process

Education/Qualifications/Skills:
· Proficient with technology.
· Knowledge of gross profit margins, managing change orders and related services.
· Ability to define problems and collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
· Strong computer skills including but not limited to: Hedberg, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook and Google Sheets.
· Process driven, Organizational skills, Strong leader.
Physical Demands:
· Hearing, Seeing, Strong communication skills.
· Speaking Fluent English.
Work Environment:
· Combination of office, warehouse, construction and customer sites
