As an Ecological Project Manager for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), you’ll be part of a team that excels at solving problems and navigating today’s complex environmental regulatory landscape. You will help our clients in the renewable energy, electric transmission, oil and gas, and commercial real estate markets achieve and maintain environmental compliance. You'll supervise staff ecologists and lead interdisciplinary projects working alongside engineers, surveyors, and environmental scientists. You will impact the whole project, from proposal to final deliverable, by working directly with clients, contractors, and agency regulators.
CEC's corporate Ecological Practice accounts for approximately $15M of CEC’s annual revenues, making it an essential part of the integrated services that we offer. The Ecological Practice includes technical experts in the fields of wetland and stream delineations, Section 401/404 permitting; stream and wetland restoration; threatened and endangered species surveys (bats, birds, mussels, and plants); stream biological monitoring (fish and macroinvertebrates); bio-retention and wetland treatment system design; and ecological risk assessments. Ecologists work cooperatively across all CEC offices to bring the necessary expertise to our clients' specific project needs.
