We are a fast-growing real estate investment company focused on buying, renovating, and leasing single family homes in the greater Oklahoma City area. We’re building a team to service and maintain our large portfolio of properties. We currently own and operate 475 units. We have a dedicated team of high-performing people constantly looking for opportunities to improve.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to join Prairie SFR's team. We specialize in single-family real estate renovation projects, and as a Construction Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the successful execution of these projects.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all aspects of single-family real estate renovation projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with all Prairie SFR standards. We will teach you our standards of quality.
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with scope of work, quality standards, and project specifications.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets specific to single-family real estate renovation projects, and ensure adherence to them throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Actively monitor all project progress and subcontractor milestones and report it to the Operations Manager on a weekly basis.

Required Skills

  • Basic working knowledge of residential construction skills such as Carpentry, Painting, Appliance, HVAC, Flooring, Plumbing, and Electrical. You will be coordinating/managing subcontractors that will perform the work in these areas.
  • Excellent Communication skills. Communication is critical to help our subcontractors and team coordinators complete construction projects accurately and efficiently.
  • Ability to use technology (iPhone, iPad, Laptop) at a high level to manage construction schedules and perform other tasks such as invoice entry and providing updates and pictures of progress to construction team.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools. (We use spreadsheets, Monday.com project management, Appfolio for property management, inspections, and work orders).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Financial Management: An understanding of construction budgets, cost control, and financial reporting is beneficial. You will be tracking project expenses, reviewing invoices, tracking change orders, and monitoring all construction expenses related to your projects.
  • Provide your own reliable transportation (truck or van preferred). Extensive daily driving to locations across the metro (OKC, Del City, MWC, Yukon, Edmond, Norman etc..).
  • 1 to 3 years of related construction/project management experience.
  • Opportunity for upward mobility in a real estate investment company that is growing rapidly.
  • Salary range that is posted is based on experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
