Weston & Sampson is Hiring an Environmental Project Manager Near Foxborough, MA

 

Weston & Sampson is seeking a Project Manager with 8-15 years of experience in wetland delineations, ecological habitat assessments, and environmental permitting, for a position in our Water group in various locations in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Delineating wetlands using the US Army Corps of Engineers methodology,
  • Environmental permitting, preferably in MA, NH, CT.
  • Conducting ecological habitat assessments is a plus,
  • Handling flexible workload, diverse project files, and working well with multiple staff members.
  • Overseeing project teams with preparing permit applications for multi-disciplinary projects,
  • Manage technical, budgetary and client aspects of projects.
  • Assist with business development, marketing, and proposal preparation with support from senior management
  • Attend public hearings and present projects to various committees and boards
  • Establishing long-term relationships with municipal and private clients
  • Supervise, train, and mentor junior staff
  • Participate in professional organizations through presentations and/or technical committees

What you’ll bring:

  • Experience with public speaking at public hearings, workshops, and seminars.
  • Ability to handle flexible workload, diverse project files, and working well with multiple staff members.
  • Valid driver’s license is required. Some travel will be required to client meetings and project sites
  • Familiarity with Massachusetts, New Hampshire or Connecticut environmental permitting regulations.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Organizational/time management skills
  • Adept at interpersonal relationship building, conflict resolution, team leadership, and mentoring
  • Honest and ethical, producing high quality work, and a commitment to teamwork, respect, and integrity
