About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Product Manager- Alternative Investments to join our Agile Transformation product team within Wealth & Investment Management. Learn more about our career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com.
In this role, you will:
Engage in continuous discovery with advisors and their clients, product line partners, operational experts, compliance and other stakeholders
Articulate product vision, definition, goals, and direction for teams to design/develop/deliver technology and processes for well-established technologies/vendor relationships
Journey mapping of client and advisor experiences
Obtain and review feedback to understand pain points
Perform industry and competitive analysis
Drive requirements, incorporating product expertise and industry/competitor opportunities
Lead backlog prioritization
Adjust planning in situations that may include financial, control, or process roadblocks
Work internal technology partners and vendors to provide actionable solutions to address pain points/issues
Make business cases for application funding
Work with scrum and delivery technical teams to enable execution of the body of work
Enhance/monitor key performance indicators and identifies improvement opportunities while ensuring all regulatory and compliance needs are met
Required Qualifications:
4 years of Product Management experience, product development experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Product manager experience in the financial industry
Alternative Investments experience in the wealth management industry preferred (e.g., hedge fund, private equity and/or private real estate)
Prior Agile experience
Experience articulating and capturing requisite data needed to determine measurable business impact (in the form of OKRs/KPIs) for the business area
Facilitation and collaboration skills, including ability to facilitate decision-making and broker agreements among diverse, differing, and/or conflicting perspectives/priorities
Demonstrated experience identifying issues and partnering with peers in technology to identify and implement strategic solutions in alignment with leadership priorities
Experience creating PowerPoint presentations from established designs to present to senior leadership
Experience working in a flexible work environment to support key team members and partners various time zones and locations
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
