VitalSkin Dermatology is Hiring a Medical Assistant Near St. Louis, MO

As a full-time Medical Assistant aka Clinical Multitasking Specialist, you will be a part of a collaborative team scribing for and supporting dermatology providers by ensuring all patients receive high quality, efficient, and comprehensive care - while demonstrating consistent adherence to the practice’s standards and procedures. You will be an integral part of helping to communicate with and educate patients, as well as assisting providers during medical and cosmetic procedures. You must be a detailed-oriented, proactive, initiative-taking individual with a passion for healthcare. This is a great opportunity for those who are interested in other advanced healthcare positions. Pre-med and science graduates will benefit from and excel in this position! Previous experience in the medical field is a plus but we will train YOU. At least 2 years of customer service experience and advanced proficiency with computers are necessary.

You must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent, with at least one year of Dermatology and/or Cosmetic Surgery experience. Certified Medical Assistant and Scribing experience preferred but not required. EMR experience - preferably ModMed EMA or comparable software. CPR / BLS & Bloodborne Pathogen Certification preferred. You must also have basic typing, computer, English, and mathematical skills. You must have an appropriate sense of discretion in dealing with varied and difficult situations; ensure compliance with all HIPPPA regulations; be able to communicate effectively with providers, patients, co-workers, and vendors. In addition, you must have the ability to work as a team member; manage multiple tasks simultaneously and excels under pressure; be empathetic with patients’ needs and concerns; be attentive to detail; and, be able to convey a positive, professional attitude in all your interactions with others.
