Looking for a Medical Assistant to handle the scheduling for the surgery department. Great opportunity with one of the biggest healthcare facilities in STL.
Job description:
Large majority of this job is scheduling patients
Taking calls from patients regarding new appointments and follow ups from previous appointments.
Scheduling surgery appointments and coordinating with Doctor schedules.
On clinical days, will be rooming patients.
Recording and updating patient medical histories.
Measuring and recording vital signs.
Qualifications:
Must haves:
- certified or registered medical assistant - with a completed CCMA/RMA
- 1 year of experience as a medical assistant in any focus or discipline
- 1 year EPIC experience
MUST have Surgery Scheduling Experience
