- Successful completion of a Medical Assistant training program from an accredited institution or
- Possess a valid Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification or
- Have at least one (1) year of verifiable, clinical work experience in an Emergency Department, Hospital, or Urgent Care environment as a Medical Assistant, ED/ER Technician, or Patient Care Technician.
- Ability to pass our internal clinical assessment.
- Able to work 4-5 days a week
- Able to work 7-13 hour shifts
- Able to work morning and afternoon shifts
- Able to work weekends
- Able to be on call for at least 2 shifts per week.
- Required to travel to different locations within an hour radius for coverage in times of critical business demands or staffing needs
- Required to have a valid driver's license or a valid driver's level 2 permit
- Must have reliable transportation
- Able to sit, walk, and reach with hands and arms throughout the workday.
- Finger dexterity and hand coordination are required.
- Occasionally required to lift moderate weight (20-40 pounds)
- Specific vision abilities are required including close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust or focus.
