Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled, energetic and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our OBGYN team in an outpatient setting. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing patient care and medical administrative support. Duties:
- Perform basic life support procedures, including CPR, as needed
- Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and procedures
- Take patient vital signs, record medical history, and update patient information in electronic medical records

- Ensure cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and other patient care areas
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred
- Certification as a Medical Assistant is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology
- Excellent patient service skills with the ability to provide compassionate care
- Proficient in medical administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work well within a team environment
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
