This position is based at our Ontario, California location.

**Responsibilities**

* Perform a physical cycle count as instructed and scheduled by the Materials Manager and compare results with MRP System

* Report discrepancies between physical inventory count and system count to Materials Manager

* Investigate origin of discrepancies and report to Materials Manager

* Adhere to the cycle counting procedures and guidelines (PL-PR-162)

* Maintain cycle count records and data files in conjunction with QMS Administrator

* Perform daily activities consistent with maintaining effective inventory management procedures

* Have current knowledge of product locations and organizational system

* Maintain a clean and safe work area.

* Perform all duties assigned by immediate supervisor and/or management.

The Inventory Specialist is responsible for understanding and working towards company goals and objectives as well as actively contributing to the cohesiveness of the team.

**Qualifications**

* High School Diploma or GED required

* Two or more years of experience in a similar position in a manufacturing environment

* Familiarity with computer applications and experience with MRP/ERP systems

* Ability to read CAD Drawings

* Ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division calculations using whole numbers and fractions

* Ability to read a measuring tape to a 1/16 measurement

* Ability to communicate with internal and external customers and complete routine reports

* Deminstrated time management skills

* Capacity to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal or diagrammatic form

* Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations

* Proficiency in written and spoken English
