Virginia Contractors Supply is Hiring a Remote Inside Sales Representative

Looking for an energetic, friendly, well-spoken person to fill an entry level inside sales position in a branch of a building materials company in Richmond, VA. Experience with building materials, concrete construction and/or contractor sales would be a plus.

Basic math, communication, and computer skills are required functions of the position. This position is full time, career oriented, and involves challenging problem solving and technical service.

Responsibilities

  • Source new sales opportunities through and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Understand customer needs and requirements
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
  • Close sales and achieve Monthly/Quarterly Growth
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
  • Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory
  • Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals
  • Basic math, communication, and computer skills
  • Competitive nature with personal motivation to succeed
  • Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
  • Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong listening skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Experience in the concrete, masonry, or other trade a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
