Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and operation of our facilities. The Facilities Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of facility maintenance, including high and low voltage electrical systems, HVAC systems, and general building maintenance. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Duties:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance program for all facilities
- Supervise a team of maintenance technicians and contractors
- Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Coordinate and prioritize maintenance tasks, ensuring timely completion
- Manage budgets for facility maintenance and repairs
- Perform or oversee the fabrication, installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems
- Interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of HVAC systems
- Collaborate with other departments to plan and execute facility improvement projects
- Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and standards
Experience:
- Proven experience in facilities management or a related field
- Strong knowledge of high voltage electrical systems, low voltage systems, HVAC systems, and general building maintenance
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with staff at all levels of the organization
