Parlement Technologies, Inc. is Hiring a Data Center Facilities Manager Near Los Angeles, CA

The Facilities Manager role is within the Parlement Technologies "Alchemy Data Centers". Our data centers have been operating in Southern California since 1995 in downtown Los Angeles and Irvine CA. We are actively looking for a full-time data center facility manager.

Required Skills:

  • Working understanding of the major building facility systems including cooling, electrical distributing, power backup, security, life safety, kitchen and restroom functions
  • Handyman skills
  • Procurement and negotiation
  • The ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Time management skills
  • Teamwork, leadership and motivational skills
  • Proactive thinking
  • Competent writing and communication skills – including the ability to communicate technical information
  • Relationship-building

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of facility staff/management
  • Some college coursework or equivalent experience preferred
  • Ability to review work for accuracy and customers satisfaction.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Excel
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail
  • Accurate data recording skills
  • Ability to meet production and quality standards for yourself and staff
  • Ability to observe processes and suggest improvements
  • Leadership in deploying standards, processes and tools
  • Professional demeanor

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of data center operations
  • Knowledge of various types of power circuits and power distribution units.
  • Knowledge of Telecommunications and connection types.
  • General clean up and daily waste disposal
  • Passionate about delivering consistent excellence
  • Server and Network soft knowledge
  • Ensures compliance with health and safety programs and protocol
  • Accountability for document management integrity
  • Ability to use a diverse set of tools
  • Ability to use telecommunication testing tools.
