Staffing Pros, a division of VETS Inc., is recruiting for a full-time SharePoint Developer. This position is remote, however, candidates must be local to the Washington, DC area. Candidates must be willing and eligible for a government background check.

Responsibilities

• Supports development and design teams with SharePoint development and admin oversight
• Delivers code solutions in accordance with team code expectations; follows all team processes for submitting and reviewing code.
• Performs manual exploratory testing individually and with the team, as appropriate for the project test strategy.
• Troubleshoots and debugs technical problems.
• Participates in peer-reviews of assigned tasks and related code.
• Works with the team to continuously learn and improve.

Qualifications

• Must be willing and eligible for a government background check
• Minimum of 5 years experience
• Strong in SharePoint but should know the rest of the tech stack
• Must have good written/verbal communication; an ability to listen to the customer needs and communicate professionally; able to translate technical information to non-technical audience easily and effectively
• Provide admin support for SharePoint: user access, functionality
• Design and development of scripts/programs for better organization, info gathering, effective management and searching in SP. Also, new manuals, guidance, training materials or revision to existing ones
• Troubleshoot SP and other platform bugs
• Apply features of new product releases to improve platform tech effectiveness
• Support current electronic library/doc center mgmt ops
• Develop and manage several databases
• Consultation and tech support for Intranet/Internet DB dev and mgmt
• Develop, maintain and improve new and existing electronic products for Ops within RAIO
• Research new software for streamlining ops
• Ensure RAIO web services has up to date UX by ensuring end user designed UI w/latest tech
• Communication/ explaining tech to non-tech people
