Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled SharePoint and Power BI Developer to join our team providing mission-essential support to Joint Force Headquarters National Capitol Region (JFHQ-NCR), Military District of Washington (HQ MDW) and Department of the Army (DA) Counterparts, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency, security, and effectiveness of our information technology infrastructure. The position will require routine interface with senior system users, and senior analysts both within and outside of the Directorate to include the supporting U.S. Army Signal Network Enterprise Center. Ability to plan, track and present project progress to Senior Leadership is essential. Department of Defense (DOD) contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SharePoint solutions and Power BI reports 

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and customize SharePoint sites, libraries, lists, workflows, and web parts to meet project requirements. 
• Develop and implement custom SharePoint solutions using technologies such as SharePoint Framework (SPFx), JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and PowerShell. 
• Create and maintain complex Power BI reports and dashboards based on business requirements and data analysis. 
• Integrate Power BI reports with SharePoint Online to provide interactive data visualization within SharePoint sites. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scope, and deliver solutions that meet business needs. 
• Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning of SharePoint and Power BI solutions. 
• Maintain proficiency with the latest SharePoint and Power BI features, best practices, and trends. 

Required Experience/Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent years of combined experience, training, and certification. Minimum of 3 years of experience in SharePoint development, including SharePoint Online. 
• Proficiency in developing custom solutions for SharePoint using technologies such as SPFx, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and PowerShell. 
• Experience in developing, publishing, and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards. 
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data visualization, and Power BI best practices. 
• Experience with SharePoint integration with Power BI and other Microsoft 365 services (e.g., Teams, Excel). 

• Knowledge of DOD security requirements and compliance standards is preferred. 
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. 
• DOD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security , CISSP, or equivalent) is a plus. 

Preferred Experience/Qualifications

• Certifications such as CompTIA A , CCNA, or ITIL are a plus.
• Experience working in large DoD enterprise network environments. 
• Experience working with DISA STIGs. 

Special Requirements/Security Clearance

• DoD SECRET Clearance
