Role Summary
What You Will Be Doing
- Collect and document requirements to design, develop, and implement reports/dashboards.
- Design, develop, and implement databases, dashboards, and data collections for reporting and visualization.
- Data clean-up and refinement services for continual updating of dashboards
- Maintain dashboards, update guidelines, and provide dashboard assistance for OAE staff
- Perform on-the-fly transformations (e.g., data wrangling, data cleansing) to prepare data for reports/dashboards.
- Analyze performance issues and tune query retrievals and data processing routines to optimize report/dashboard performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve errors in reports/dashboards to increase data quality and improve the user experience.
- Apply version control procedures to promote configuration items from Development through Production.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for reports/dashboards.
- Prepare and present briefings to describe how reports/dashboards are constructed and used.
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns within complex data sets.
- Establish KPIs to measure, and monitor, the effectiveness of business decisions.
- Work with a team of analysts and other associates to process information, identify efficiencies, and implement procedures to increase data quality.
What We Need From You (Required)
- A minimum of eight (8 ) or more years of direct experience in data analysis, data visualization and/or data management and reporting.
- Three (3 ) or more years of direct experience with Power BI
- Experience with designing, developing, and deploying Power BI dashboards.
- Experience working with large data sets, data models (transactional and dimensional), and dashboards in support
- Experience acquiring data from primary and secondary sources and maintaining data systems from Development to Production.
- Capable of leading a small team to build data and analytical solutions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- U.S. Citizenship required (NO EXCEPTIONS)

- Familiarity with Monitoring & Evaluation techniques
