Up To Date Laundry is Hiring a Route Service Representative Near Baltimore, MD
Essential Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Routinely resolves customer issues within established guidelines and partners with customers in identifying satisfactory solutions.
- Builds strong customer relationships with product users and decision-makers on an ongoing basis with the objective of continuing and renewing service contracts.
- Available to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays if necessary to be able to meet our customer's needs.
- Confirms that customer loads are correct before leaving the Up to Date Laundry (UTDL) location. Drives an UTDL delivery vehicle to deliver clean products to customers according to specifications. Collects/sorts and returns soiled products to the UTDL location for laundering.
- Accurately complete all records and required paperwork on a daily basis.
- Ensure customer has ample inventory to use until next delivery by managing inventories established by the customer.
- Count both soiled and clean product to manage customer inventories.
- Physically move carts of linen on and off company vehicles.
- Physically inspect company vehicles and log problems found on company vehicles before and after physically driving the vehicle (also knows as pre- and post-trip reports).
- Responsible for other job-related duties as assigned.
- Previous customer service or driving experience is preferred.
- Starting pay is based on years of previous experience.
