SalarySalary Range: $35,568 annualized, commensurate with education, experience and qualifications.
Hours per WeekExempt Position: 40 hours per week. Occasional weekend and evenings will be required

Essential FunctionsFunction: To coordinate the operation of programs or projects, and oversee day-to-day functions of Undergraduate Recruitment, exercising independent judgment and authority as required.
Scope: Responsible for assigned phases of programs and office management, which may include budget decisions, program selection, supervision, partner relations, outreach, and day-to-day office operations.
Typical:
1. Responsible for assisting with the daily office operations and functions of the UTSA Undergraduate Recruitment office.
2. Coordinate in-person and virtual recruitment events, fairs, and special initiatives. Will work collaboratively with recruitment staff on all of the planning, logistics, staffing, and evaluation of outreach projects.
3. Assist with reviewing & responding to inquiries from students, parents, and school partners, by phone, email, and, through customer relations management system.
4. Interact with university departments, special groups, and external agencies to coordinate resources for recruitment efforts.
5. Serve as liaison between community partners, university partners, and business partners to establish and maintain relationships, agreements, and policies.
6. Coordinating and scheduling training and onboarding for new staff members, conduct separation process for exiting staff, and maintaining training and recruitment policies and procedures.
7. Provide administrative support to Undergraduate recruitment staff and Senior Director
8. Performs other duties as assigned.
Periodic:
1. Assists in the recruitment of perspective students to UTSA by providing accurate and specific information about educational opportunities along with group and individual counseling about admission requirements. This may include occasional travel.
2. Contribute to strategic planning, assessment and data entry for Undergraduate Recruitment & Admissions
Required QualificationsBachelor's Degree in a related field
Two years experience in admissions, recruiting, advising, or related enrollment and/or student service experience
Additional education may substitute for required experience
Knowledge of personal computers with standard business software and all standard office equipment.
Additional education can substitute for required experience
Preferred QualificationsExperience with a customer relation management system (CRM) or communication tool
Knowledge of University/College processes and procedures
Working ConditionsThis position will be primarily located:
Hybrid-Regularly: This position will require working both remotely and on campus (approximately five or more days on campus per month). Travel and parking expenses are the employee's responsibility. Applicants must be adaptable and open to working in both environments.
Occasional weekend and evenings will be required
Travel may be required with personal car and/or company car.
Additional Information- This position is benefits eligible, temporary with an expected end date of one year from the date of hire contingent upon department need and funding.
