Job Summary and Description

Develops Alamo College District AmeriCorps Program(s). The AmeriCorps Program Coordinator is responsible for administering, coordinating and evaluating the program(s); provides leadership and support for the design and development of programs and processes. Coordinates functions related to recruitment, marketing, partnerships, program accreditation, strengthening relationships,
and event programming.

Reports to EWD - Public Allies.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Three years of job-related experience.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Master’s degree.
  • Five years of job-related experience.
  • Experience in supervising diverse populations.
  • Experience in AmeriCorps Program Management.
  • Experience in team-building and collaborative leadership as well as in conflict resolution.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Must have a valid driver license and be insurable through the organization’s insurers

Motor Vehicle Report is required in addition to background check and drug screen
